Regular Checkup - 13 weeks 3 days

It was a great appointment this morning! It was very routine of course. Baby T's heartrate was 160. Dr Chut said the results from the first trimester screening looked "great, and just beautiful, perfect blood results". She said the results GREATLY decreased any chances of any defects at all well beyond the normal chances. So, things are going along great!

I asked Dr Chut about Baby T measuring 3, 4, or 5 days ahead in the ultrasounds. I asked, "Does that mean I'll deliver a few days ahead?" She said, "Ummm, no". She went on to explain, "That is perfectly fine and normal, and the measurements were still within the 'normal' range, so we won't change your due date or anything. Really this has more to do with genetics. So....your husband is pretty tall, and it looks like your baby got that trait." How amazing! It is just awesome that they can see that stuff already! Of course it's no guarantee that Baby T will be a tall adult by any means...but it's kinda looking that way! This baby is a Todd alright!
