Hello Tri 2! Hello 31!

On Memorial Day, Baby T turned 14 weeks and we entered the second trimester! So many exciting things are going to happen during this trimester. I can't wait to feel the baby move in a few more weeks! I know it'll be one of the most awesome moments. Next week I plan to schedule the 20 week ultrasound, so soon we should have a date when we'll be able to find out if Baby T is a boy or a girl! As requested, I've included a first belly pic. I think at times it shows up more than this picture shows. I'm getting ready for a big growth spurt this month!

Yesterday I turned 31. It was a great day! My co-workers brought in balloons, took me to lunch, and served a homemade blueberry cheesecake in the afternoon. This was pretty surprising as this office is usually really a "no frills" kind of place. Travis took me to a wonderful Mexican dinner in Castle Rock. Thanks to all of you for all the emails, posts, calls, and text messages! Last year, turning 30 wasn't really all that fun. The buildup was really worse than the actual day, but I did feel just a little "off" about it. It was silly, I know. But this birthday has been so much fun! I'm positive it's because I know that Baby T is on the way. No doubt this is going to be one of the most exciting years of my life!

Oh, and we ordered our crib this week! I really didn't plan to start looking this early, but Babies R Us was running a special that was just too good to let pass. So, the crib has already been shipped and should arrive next week! Now Travis has 5 months to put it together! Haha. We actually need to do a lot more to the baby's room before we're ready to put furniture in it, but we'll get there.
