First Post!

Well, here we are...our very first post. As all of you know by now, Travis and I are expecting a new baby at the end of November (please see Baby's first picture to the left at 9 weeks 2 days). I've loved following Gina's and Christy Lynn's blogs as their babies have grown, so I thought I better get one started now that we have a baby for you to follow!

I couldn't be more excited that we're having a baby. I have dreamed of this my entire life. You know how little girls often dream of their wedding and cut out pictures of wedding dresses and flowers and such? Well...I wasn't that little girl. I was the little girl that was cutting out pictures of cribs and bassinets and making lists of baby names that I liked. I begged Mom to buy me pacifiers and real diapers that I could use for my baby dolls (She actually did comply with these requests! She drew the line at a bassinet though.)! At 9 years old, the idea that I had to find a wonderful husband to share this dream with didn't really enter my mind...but obviously it did later in life. So, my most cherished dream is now a reality. In Travis, I found the most genuine, smart, trustworthy and caring man that I love with all that I am (and we finally got married!), and now we're having a baby together. Wow (which is exactly the word I wrote in the card I gave to Travis the day we found out we were expecting, ha). WOW WOW WOW

Okay, so enough of the corny stuff. Let's get to the details on the baby:

- Expected due date: 11/29/10

- We WILL find out if we're having a boy or a girl sometime around the end of July

- We don't have any names picked out yet, but Baby T seems to be sticking for a nickname
