Weekend/Kitchen Lighting Project

We had a wonderful weekend! Lori, Joe, Hannah, and Josie came to Denver for a little summer vacation. We got to go to the Rockies game with them, and it was a record-breaking game! The Rockies won 17-2. They also came to see our house and we had dinner out with them. It was so nice to get to visit with them. When we're in Upton it's always very hectic and there isn't a lot of time to just catch up with them! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. I toted my camera around in my purse the whole weekend and forgot to get it out!

I also received a very nice surprise...one night I came home and our good friends, Kent and Jackie, had totally re-done the lighting in our kitchen! This is something I've wanted done for a long time (canned lights and pendant lights as opposed to the big florescent light box), and one day Kent came to our house and completed the whole thing while I was work! Jackie came to help Kent clean up. Travis finished painting the ceiling last Sunday and the kitchen lighting project is complete! I LOVE it! THANK YOU SO SO SO much Kent, Jackie, and Travis!
