Wow...in just a few weeks, our little Houston Timothy will be one year old! This is truly a bittersweet event for me. I'm so proud of our little man and everything he's learning and doing, but I get teary-eyed sometimes when I think about how quickly this year has passed. Houston is definitely becoming a little boy. Our baby-no-more can now walk all over (sometimes he makes laps around our house just to walk!), he's trying to run even! He has several signs now including, eat/food, doggie, Big Pa, hi, night-night/bye-bye, love you, and his latest is elk, that Grandpa taught him. He says "Hi Dad" all the time now. He loves to talk on the phone. He even walks around the house as he jabbers away into the phone (wonder who he has seen doing that?!?! Ha). He knows a few more animal sounds now. He can snap his fingers. And his latest trick is sticking out his tongue and then laughing if we do it back. He's a happy boy and we're loving him more than ever, of course.
