The Todd Family: Hello?

Wow, my dear blog followers, is anyone left out there after I've failed to update this for three whole months? The summer is over! I apologize for the lack of posts and pictures, I have a nine-month-old busy busy busy baby boy....that's my reason!

Our trips to Wyoming were wonderful, in both June and August. We spent nearly three weeks there in August and Houston learned SO much. He's been crawling for about a month now. He stands up to everything and occasionally balances on his own (no hands Mom!) before sitting down. He loves to walk holding someones fingers. He waves hi and bye, signs "more", blows his own nose, smells flowers, flushes the toilet (several times in a row!), shakes his head no, smacks his lips for what the fish says, says "mmmm" for what the cow says, says Mom/Mama, Dada, Hi Dad, Yum, and Hey. He also has his own sign for Big Pa, which is a hand movement back and forth because Big Pa always grabs his hand and shakes it when he sees him! He still loves cords, laptops, cell phones, stereo equipment...all the things he's not really supposed to get into right now!

In the past few weeks he's become a mini garbage disposal and eats pretty much anything we put in front of him! He loves meat, chicken, beans, blueberries, grapes, cherries, puffs, and cheerios and corn on the cob. He had his nine-month checkup and is 26.5 lbs (97%), 28 5/8 inches (70%). He's moving on up the height chart and his weight gain has actually slowed a bit. He had to get a flu shot at the appointment and didn't cry but rather yelled/growled at the nurse!
