Six Months?! YEAH - SIX MONTHS!!!

Yes it's true...time has truly flown by and yesterday was Houston's half birthday. He is doing awesome. He sits up great all by himself. He thinks it's very funny to tip over backwards on the cushy bed. Luckily he hasn't tried this too much on the hard floor. He is "inch-worm" crawling where he sticks his hiney up in the air but has yet to push his chest up at the same time so he really doesn't get too far. He rolls all over the place now and seems to think this is much easier to do to get somewhere instead of trying to crawl. He loves people watching, going for walks, running in his walker, and playing with Mom and Dad. His favorite sounds are still the spity-airy ones...like when you're making car sounds. But sometimes it sounds as though he's saying "hey" or "hi" to us.

Travis started his new tech company accelerator program, Tech Stars, a few weeks ago. This means some long hours and a daily commute to Boulder. We're very proud of him and his company for being accepted, and we're hoping for great things at the end of the program (Aug 5). But, we miss him during the week. Houston is always thrilled when Dad walks in the door. However, I will say that Houston naps better when it's just us at home...when Dad is here he doesn't want to miss out on anything fun!

We've started a little mommy and me music and sign class on Monday's. Houston does great and loves the other babies! He's the second youngest, but definitely not the smallest! Ha. He talks to the other kids and mamas, smiles a lot during fun activities, and gets a lot of people watching in. He's yet to return any of the signs, but he's still very young for that. He does shake the shakers during song time though - so cute!

We're going to hop a plane to Gillette June 9 and are really looking forward to seeing family in WY! We aren't looking forward to missing Dad though. We'll see how the plane trip goes. I've already been trying to make packing lists.

Here are some pics of our little man - growing SO much!

6 Months in Bobcat Blue
6 Months in what Dad feared people would think was a Nebraska outfit (which it isn't)!
Playing with his sing along pal from Auntie Christi and Uncle Steve
Mr. Cool on our walk. He doesn't leave the glasses on too long.
Sitting up so big at his jungle gym - a whole new view of the toys!
One more 6 month pic in Bobcat blue (making one of his favorite sounds at Dad)
